With more and more sound engineers looking to work in the live sector our 4 Day Pro Live Sound Course will give you both the skills to start live sound engineering straight away and also additional advanced skills to take your mix to the next level.

Who Is The Course Aimed At?
We pack a great deal into our 4 day course and finish it off with chance to engineer a live band at the end. This course combines all the key elements from our very popular two day live sound course and our one day advanced course plus addational topics and you get to sound engineer for real.

Aimed at those who want to make sound engineering a career and get work in the live industry and also those people who make their living playing live and need to have a great sound.

The course includes essential in-depth theory on the principles of sound, acoustics and gain structure and from this moves onto explaining all about the equipment, components and settings you should use. There is in-depth training on patching in and using the mixing desk, understanding and using EQ, Grouping, Routing, Using the matrix and recording a live mix. We teach about setting and creating monitor mixes show how to conquer feedback and using a variety of ringing out techniques. We provide detailed training on using all of todays outboard equipment such as Gates, Compressors, Graphics. You get to use a broad selection of mics and are taught how to mic up and get the most out of a broad range of instruments such as drums, bass, guitars (both electric & acoustic), brass, string, percussion and others.

By the end of the 4 days you will be ready to start making a living as a sound engineer!

Who Can attend the 4 Day Pro Live Sound Engineering Course?
Anyone over the age of 18 can attend the course and no previous experience is required. We have a diverse range of students coming from all over the UK and even abroad. As well as having people who have wanted to engineer bands we have trained other people such as singers, musicians, teachers, live venue owners and sound equipment installers.

● The types of Cables & Connectors required.
● Patching in & Using Effect Processors
● Graphic Equalizers and there use on both Front of House and Monitors
● Compressors & Limiters, Applications, & Settings
● Expanders & Noise Gates, Applications, & Settings
● Cabling and Connecting them into the Mixing Desk
● Typical Dynamic Processor Settings for Vocals and Instruments
● Ringing Out F.O.H and Monitors
● De-Essing and Frequency Conscious Compressing
